1. What is Kylin's warranty policy and what types of product issues are covered?

For Saunas:

Warranty Period:

Kylin offers different policies depending on whether you're purchasing an infrared or traditional sauna. For infrared saunas, we provide a 5-year structural and parts warranty and a 1-year labor warranty for residential use. As for traditional saunas, we offer a 5-year structural warranty, 2-year parts warranty and a 1-year labor warranty for residential use.

To obtain warranty service, the purchaser must submit the Warranty Claim Form to let us determine the issue and service procedure. Depending on the situation, we will arrange for parts replacement or repair service.

Parts Warranty:

The parts warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship or any mechanical components that may fail including the heater control, power supply, wires, and audio system. We will provide the necessary parts at no cost to you if your product is within the warranty period. If the warranty has expired, parts can still be supplied at an additional charge.

 

Labor Warranty:

The free on-site repair service area covers locations within 150 km from our service point. After the warranty period, a call-out fee will apply.

The warranty begins on the original date of purchase and is valid only for products purchased and used in the designated market. Please note, if man-made damage is identified upon inspection, additional on-site charges may apply. For services outside the eligible area, we will provide the required parts at no cost. You can choose to either replace the parts yourself or hire a third-party handyman for assistance.

For Other Home and Kitchen Appliances:
We offer 1-year local warranty including any defects in materials or workmanship or any mechanical components that may fail. 

To obtain warranty service, the purchaser must submit the Warranty Claim Form to let us determine the issue and service procedure. Depending on the situation, we will arrange for parts replacement or repair service.

2. What types of product issues are not covered under the warranty?

For saunas:

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse such as being affected by the weather placed outdoor, improper installation, or lack of maintenance. It also does not cover the normal deterioration of a sauna after typical and proper usage such as scratches, dents, or stains which do not affect the product's functionality.

The sauna or parts must be placed in an indoor environment or fully sheltered areas, unless specifically designed for outdoor use. All controls, heaters, electrical parts, and wiring must be kept dry at all times and not exposed to water or liquids. Damage to wood caused by water (including sweat, rain, or other liquids) is not covered by this warranty. Additional charges will be applied if the damage is caused by misuse of components.

This warranty also applies only to:

1. Retail purchasers of a sauna or parts directly from Kylin Sauna;

2. Authorised wholesale purchasers of a sauna or parts directly from Kylin Sauna; or

3. Retail purchasers of a sauna or parts from an authorised Kylin Sauna reseller.

In the event of a sale, transfer, or conveyance of a sauna or parts by any of the above purchasers or entities, all rights, duties, and obligations under this warranty shall be void.

 

For Rice Cooker/Slow Cooker Inner Pot

Scratches on the non-stick coating, cracks in clay or ceramic parts, and wear on the rubber seal are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered by warranty.

3. How do I file a claim under the warranty?

We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and excellent customer service. However, we understand that issues may arise from time to time. If you have any concerns regarding a product you have received, please submit the Warranty Claim Form above to help us assist you better, please provide us with the following details:

4. How long does it take to process a warranty claim?

The time it takes to process a warranty claim may vary depending on the nature of the issue and the availability of replacement parts. We strive to resolve all warranty claims as quickly and efficiently as possible, and will keep you informed throughout the process.

5. What happens if my product is out of warranty?

We can supply the spare parts at additional costs if the sauna or item is out of warranty, we are here to provide support and assistance with repairs or replacements. The new replacement can be easily arranged and delivered to you after a detailed evaluation from our support team.
