Red Light Therapy
Explore Kylin Sauna’s red light therapy range for home wellness, recovery and relaxation. Designed for Australian homes, our red light therapy products support your daily self-care routine with convenient, professional-inspired light therapy at home.
Kylin's red light panel range includes two models built around the same five-wavelength LED system. The compact K100 PRO is designed for focused use on one area at a time, while the larger K300 PRO covers a broader area and includes hanging accessories. The best option depends mainly on the area you want to use it on and the amount of space available at home.
What Red Light Therapy Is
Red light therapy uses red and near-infrared wavelengths rather than ultraviolet light. Kylin's red and infrared phototherapy device is included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as a Class IIa medical device under ARTG 472887. Its registered intended purpose is for adults and includes the temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis-related discomfort, muscle spasm and stiffness, as well as muscle relaxation and a temporary increase in local blood circulation.
Results and comfort can vary from person to person. Red light therapy should be used according to the supplied instructions and should not replace medical assessment or treatment.
How the Kylin Panels Work
Both models use dual-chip LEDs across five wavelengths: 630 nm and 660 nm red light, plus 810 nm, 830 nm and 850 nm near-infrared light. The red and near-infrared settings can be used as directed for the intended treatment area. Near-infrared light may not appear as bright to the eye, even when the LEDs are operating normally.
The published irradiance is more than 219 mW/cm² at the LED surface and more than 160 mW/cm² at 15 cm. Actual exposure changes with distance, brightness and the selected mode, so follow the user manual rather than assuming that a higher setting or longer session is always better.

Which Panel Is Right for You
Choose the K100 PRO if you want a compact panel that is easy to position for one area, such as a shoulder, elbow, knee or calf. Its smaller size also makes it easier to store between sessions.
Choose the K300 PRO if you want to cover a larger area, such as the back or legs. At 100 cm tall, it provides substantially more coverage than the K100 PRO, but it is not a floor-to-ceiling panel. You may still need to reposition yourself or the panel when using it on different parts of the body.
Using the Panel at Home
Use the distance, session time and frequency stated in the manual supplied with your model. General routines found online may not match the output or intended use of your Kylin panel. The 30-minute timer is a control range, not a recommendation to use the maximum time for every session.
- Wear the supplied protective glasses and do not stare directly into the LEDs.
- Use the panel in a dry indoor location and keep it away from water, excessive heat and steam.
- Stop using the panel if you experience pain, irritation, dizziness or unusual discomfort.
- Ask a healthcare professional before use if you have an eye condition, are sensitive to light, take photosensitising medicine, are pregnant or have concerns about an existing condition.
- Keep the panel out of reach of children and follow all warnings in the user manual.
Using Red Light Therapy with a Sauna Routine
A red light panel and an infrared sauna are separate products and should be used as separate sessions. Do not operate the red light panel inside a sauna or expose it to sauna heat, humidity or steam unless the product instructions specifically permit it. If you include both in the same routine, follow the instructions for each product and allow time to cool down and rehydrate after using the sauna. There is no single required order for the two sessions.
